Institute of Handloom and Textile Technology is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Industries, Government of Kerala and the nodal agency in the State for giving input of Science and Technology to the traditional Handloom Textile Industry. The Institute was established and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 in the year 1987. And now we are expanding our avenues to more places. The second centre is opening at Trivandrum (Balaramapuram) by 1st Oct 2008. |
